REFUND POLICY

Thank you for pre-ordering Medieval Life from Wasted Potential Studios LLC

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds are offered, how to request a refund, and the process involved. Please read this policy carefully before placing a pre-order, as it outlines important information about your rights and limitations regarding refunds. This Policy shall be read along with our Terms & Conditions.

1. DEFINITIONS

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all the capitalized terms used in this Policy shall have the same meaning as ascribed to them in the Terms & Conditions.

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Within 30 Days of Purchase: You are eligible for a refund if you request it within 30 days of your pre-order purchase, provided you have not redeemed the Steam key associated with your order.
  • Unredeemed Steam Key: Refunds can only be granted if the Steam key provided with your preorder has not been redeemed. Once the Steam key has been redeemed, the purchase becomes final, and no refunds will be issued by Wasted Potential Studios LLC. For any refund issues after redemption, you will need to contact Valve through Steam’s refund policies.
  • Game Cancellation or Significant Delay: In the event that Medieval Life is significantly delayed beyond the estimated release window of Q4 2026, or if development is cancelled, we may offer refunds at our sole discretion. We will notify you of any changes or delays that may affect your eligibility for a refund.
  • Change of Mind: Refunds are not available for customers who change their minds about preordering the game or decide they no longer wish to wait for the release of Medieval Life.
3. REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

If you are eligible for a refund based on the terms outlined in this policy, you can request a refund by following the steps below:

  • Submit a Request: To initiate a refund, please contact our support team at studio@wastedpotential.gg. In your email, provide the following details: o Your full name and email address associated with the pre-order. o The order number or transaction ID. o The reason for requesting a refund.
  • Verification: Upon receiving your refund request, we will review your eligibility. This may include verifying whether the Steam key has been redeemed or whether the request falls within the eligible time frame (30 days from purchase).
  • Approval or Denial: Once your refund request is reviewed, we will notify you of our decision. If approved, you will receive an email confirming the refund process. If denied, we will provide the reasons for denial and any further steps you may take, such as contacting Valve for Steam keyrelated issues.
  • Processing Time: Once your refund request has been approved, we will begin processing it. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the refund to be processed and credited to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated.
  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method used for the preorder. This could be a credit or debit card, PayPal, or any other payment method available at the time of purchase. We cannot process refunds to alternate payment methods.
  • Partial Refunds: In some cases, particularly for significant delays or cancellation of the game, we may offer partial refunds based on the remaining funds or the amount of the pre-order that has been used for game development. Any such refunds will be at the sole discretion of Wasted Potential Studios LLC.
  • Transaction Fees: Any transaction fees associated with the original purchase may not be refunded. Additionally, if your bank or payment provider charges fees for processing refunds, Wasted Potential Studios LLC is not responsible for covering these fees.
4. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Unless provided by the relevant statute, rules, or directives applicable to the jurisdiction in which you reside, in case of any claims, disputes or controversies arising out of or in relation to the services, or this Policy, the same shall be dealt with as per the Governing Law and Dispute Resolution clause as mentioned in the Terms & Conditions.

5. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We may add to or change or update this Refund Policy at any time, from time to time, entirely at our own discretion, with or without any prior written notice. You are responsible for checking this Policy periodically. Your use of the platform after any amendments to this Policy shall constitute your acceptance to such amendments.
